Selimiye is a another pretty village set in a large bay and has a very cosmopolitan feel. We would recommend anchoring in the bay and taking the dinghy ashore. The town jetty is very often full of local boats.
You will love to take a walk along the waterfront lined with restaurants, pensions, shops and bars. You may just like to swim off your yacht in the clear waters in the bay. Perfect for swimming and relaxing.
Selimiye is a great place to re-stock with provisions, fresh fruit & vegetables. Amazingly there are 4 supermarkets in Selimiye. One of these is stocked with a selection of imported goods: cheeses, cold meats, champagne & chocolates!! In addition there are heaps of shops selling a variety of local handicrafts, jewellery, clothes & handbags.
Finally, if you are looking for a place to go running this the ideal spot.
